For Champaign County Circuit Judge
Troy was born at Mercy Hospital in Urbana, Illinois, to Charles and Ginger Lozar, who remain busy in Champaign County as a puppeteer (Ginger Lozar's Puppets) and an Architect and owner of the International Museum of Ship Models and Sea History in Sadorus, Illinois. Troy attended elementary school at Bottenfield in Champaign, then Columbia Middle School, before transferring to Uni High in Urbana.
Attending the University of Illinois as a Chancellor's Scholar, Troy graduated Cum Laude with double degrees in Sociology and Psychology. After law school at Northwestern Lewis and Clark, Troy began a legal career in government and public service pursuing justice for victims of crime that has lasted two decades.
Troy's amazing wife, Amy, has been the Art and Enrichment teacher at South Side Elementary School in Champaign for almost 18 years. Together, they have two incredible kids who awe them everyday with how fast they are growing and learning as they become young adults.
Together, with Lola, their golden-doodle, Troy, Amy, and their kids are asking for your help in the March, 2019, Democratic Primary Election for Resident Circuit Judge in Champaign County. Our community needs people who care, people who are qualified, and people who are dedicated to doing what is right.
